Jill Abrahart Coaching

What is holistic coaching?

Holistic coaching is a type of coaching that looks at the whole person, rather than focusing on just one area like career, fitness, or mindset.

Instead of treating issues in isolation, holistic coaching considers how different parts of your life are connected—typically including:

  • Mental (thoughts, beliefs, mindset)
  • Emotional (feelings, self-awareness, resilience)
  • Physical (health, energy, lifestyle habits)
  • Spiritual (purpose, values, meaning—not necessarily religious)

How does a coach help?

The idea is that challenges in one area often affect others. For example, stress at work (mental/emotional) can impact your sleep and health (physical), which then affects your motivation and clarity.

A holistic coach helps you:

    • Gain clarity about your goals and values
    • Identify patterns or blocks across different areas of life
    • Build balance and alignment
    • Create sustainable, long-term change (not just quick fixes)

Also as a fully qualified Life/Career coach , I can offer support with :

    • Career Coaching
    • Coping with retirement
    • Navigating divorce and managing new relationships
    • Managing mental health and well-being generally
    • Challenging work situations
Jill Abrahart has been a vital sounding board whilst I have been developing my company. Our sessions provided valuable time for reflection and I came out every time with new clarity about the decisions I needed to make. Jill is a totally genuine person and it's a great asset to have an honest, supportive and knowledgeable person to speak to, especially during a worldwide pandemic!

Personal Training

I’m a newly qualified Personal Trainer with YMCA 2025 at 68 having retired from working in NHS for 15 years nearly 2 years ago.

Started strength training with daughter as PT due to problems with knees and back . Flexibility and strength was an issue . Due to early menopause early onset of Osteoporosis.

After 18 months transformed my body and and thoroughly enjoyed building muscle and becoming stronger.  And also more importantly pain in knee joints and neck and back disappeared. Additionally, my course was designed to equip me with an understanding of nutrition and how to support clients with that as well as good exercise to improve health.

I decided to become a PT to encourage others in their journey with strength and fitness. Retired and time to commit to running groups, online or face to face . I develop holistic coaching which could offer support in one or more different areas for women generally post menopause.

    • To improve strength and fitness
    • To help manage symptoms faced when ageing with joint problems
    • Improve mental health and well-being
    • Connect with others in small groups and have fun while keeping fit .
The life coaching sessions with Jill are helpful and beneficial. With Jill's support I have moved to a new job that I enjoy more. I feel better about myself than I have done for a long while.

Practicalities of coaching

At the moment all coaching is conducted online via Zoom. Once we are safe to meet up face-to-face I offer coaching across South East and Central London. Many clients choose a mixture of online and face-to-face coaching. Some prefer online only and some really want to meet in person. I  am very flexible and it’s entirely down to what suits you best.

I know that finding time for coaching can be difficult and I am happy to offer sessions at the weekend, evenings or even early mornings if that suits your schedule.

Coaching sessions

  • Free taster session
  • Initial blocks of 4 or 6 sessions
  • Each session is 1 hour
  • Evening and weekend sessions available
  • Online or face-to-face (when permitted)
  • 1-session specials available

I found my sessions with Jill to be really informative and helpful. Through her interactive exercises and questions, she helped me to find ways of bringing my past experiences, current activities and dreams together. This in turn provided me with a new way of looking forward and seeing that there really are plenty of options and opportunities out there and it’s worth following the path that you really want to follow. Jill is a wise and empathetic listener and instinctively knows how to help you feel cared for and supported. I highly recommend her.
